Amit Thadhani is a well-known general surgeon practicing in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai for over two decades. He is past president of Indian Medical Association Chembur branch and is a prominent member of many doctors’ bodies. He is also deeply involved in social activities. His non-profit organisation PEHL supports education of about 300 children and has treated over 10,000 patients free of cost in several disaster-hit areas of India and Nepal.
He plays the lead guitar in an all-doctor musical band and dabbles in organic farming in his spare time.
