Sumedha Verma Ojha ji was born in Bihar, worked in the Indian Revenue Service, with UN Organizations and is a Historian, Author ,Speaker and Web series maker. She is the author of the books Urnabhih , The Mewar Ramayana Urnabhih 2 “Chanakya’s Scribe.
She also works in translating and explaining the epics and bringing ancient Sanskrit/Prakrit literature to the modern world. Her translation of the Sanskrit Valmiki Ramayana was published in 2016.
In India the IGNCA, the National Museum and other museums invite her as an expert for talks on Indian history and Culture and a paper is being published by the former in its Project.
She is also a member of the Indica Team, being part of its ESG Council. Indica is an international institute for Indic Studies which bridges Indic and Western epistemology. She runs a Research Fellowship Program on Indic Feminism for Indica with seven Fellows and 4 Young Scholars at the moment.
